Same idea as the last one with the hungriest peptide of the family in the second slot. GHRP-6 is the original growth hormone hexapeptide. People who want to eat pick it on purpose. People who do not want to eat find out the hard way. No one has tested this vial.

What people take it for

  • Better sleep.
  • Eating more, on purpose, when gaining weight is the goal.
  • Losing fat and holding muscle.
  • Healing faster.

What the trials actually showed

Nobody has tested the pair. GHRP-6 does have real human numbers. Nine healthy men got it by drip. It spread through the body in about 7.6 minutes and cleared with a half life of about 2.5 hours. Four of the nine had odd spikes on the way out. The other half of the vial is a puzzle. If it holds the long acting GHRH molecule, its half life is 5.8 to 8.1 days. If it holds the short one most no DAC vials contain, it is gone in minutes. Either way the two halves do not match. One lasts a hundred times longer than the other, or both are gone in hours. For the drug classes together, a 24 hour drip of a GHRP with GHRH beat GHRH alone in healthy older adults. That used the other GHRP, in a clinic. Sellers do not agree on vial sizes, so this page will not give you a per unit number.

Overview

The same two-receptor pairing as the GHRP-2 version with the hungriest secretagogue of the group in the second slot. GHRP-6 has published human pharmacokinetics in nine male volunteers, with an elimination half-life of about 2.5 hours, against a GHRH half that either lasts days or minutes depending on which molecule is actually in the vial. Nobody has studied the blend.

GHRP-6 is the original growth hormone releasing hexapeptide and the one with the strongest appetite effect in the family. That is why it persists in this market: people who want to eat choose it deliberately, and people who do not want to eat find out about it the hard way.

The human pharmacokinetics exist and are worth knowing. A single intravenous bolus in nine healthy male volunteers gave a distribution half-life of about 7.6 minutes and an elimination half-life of about 2.5 hours, with a bi-exponential disposition and area under the curve rising roughly in proportion to dose. That is a real measurement in real people and it is also the entirety of the human pharmacokinetic file for this component.

Set that next to the other half. If the vial contains genuine CJC-1295 with drug affinity complex, its half-life is 5.8 to 8.1 days. If it contains the mod GRF 1-29 that most no-DAC vials hold, it clears in minutes. Either way the two halves are mismatched: either one component lasts a hundred times longer than the other, or both are gone within hours and the vial is a short pulse of both. A single fixed ratio cannot be right for both cases, and the buyer usually cannot tell which case they are in.

On the arithmetic, vendors sell this at several splits and no size is canonical across the market, so this page does not print a per-unit figure. What is fixed regardless of split is that the plunger moves both, so the appetite effect and the GHRH effect rise and fall together.

Mechanism of action

GHRP-6 is a hexapeptide agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, the ghrelin receptor, which triggers a growth hormone pulse and also drives appetite, and at higher exposures raises cortisol and prolactin more than the newer selective agents. The GHRH analogue raises pulse amplitude at a separate receptor. The mechanistic case for combining them is the same two-receptor logic tested for the class with infusions, not with this vial.

Human evidence

The pair has never been studied. Each half has human pharmacology and neither has an outcome trial.

  • The blend: no published study, no registered trial.
  • GHRP-6: single-dose intravenous pharmacokinetics in nine healthy men, elimination half-life about 2.5 hours. No efficacy trial for any of the reasons people buy it.
  • GHRH analogue half: the published human study covers the long-acting drug affinity complex form, not the material typically sold.
  • Class combination: GHRP plus GHRH by infusion beat GHRH alone on growth hormone output in healthy older adults.

What this does not tell you: Growth hormone and IGF-1 are the endpoints in all of this. No trial in this class has measured muscle, fat, recovery or function in the people who buy it, over the durations they run it.

Reading the research record

GHRP-6's appetite effect is the reason this version still sells and also the reason most people leave it. It is not a side effect in the incidental sense; it is a direct consequence of agonism at the ghrelin receptor, the same receptor that makes you hungry before dinner. A fixed blend means the only way to reduce it is to reduce the GHRH half at the same time.

The older GHRPs also raise cortisol and prolactin more than ipamorelin does, which is the single reason ipamorelin displaced them in this market. That is a relative statement from pharmacology rather than from a head to head trial of blends, and no such trial exists.

    Nine healthy men received single intravenous boluses of 100, 200 and 400 micrograms per kilogram. Averaged across doses the distribution half-life was 7.6 plus or minus 1.9 minutes and the elimination half-life 2.5 plus or minus 1.1 hours, with bi-exponential disposition and area under the curve increasing roughly in proportion to dose. Atypical concentration spikes appeared during the elimination phase in four of the nine subjects.
