US FDA status: FDA-approved. Botox under BLA 103000 with original approval on 9 December 1991, alongside abobotulinumtoxinA, incobotulinumtoxinA, prabotulinumtoxinA, daxibotulinumtoxinA and other type A products approved separately. Indications span chronic migraine, overactive bladder, spasticity, cervical dystonia, axillary hyperhidrosis, blepharospasm and strabismus, plus separate cosmetic approvals for facial lines.
