Is Tirzepatide with BPC-157 legal in Canada?

The same pairing logic as the semaglutide version with a larger weight loss effect on one side and the same empty file on the other. Tirzepatide 15 mg produced 20.9% mean weight loss at 72 weeks; BPC-157 has five human studies totalling under 110 subjects, none by the route used here. The combination has never been studied and BPC-157 cannot lawfully be compounded in the United States.

Tirzepatide's effect size makes the lean mass question sharper than it is with semaglutide. In SURMOUNT-1, 57% of the 15 mg group lost 20% or more of body weight over 72 weeks, against 3% on placebo.

Mechanism: Tirzepatide agonises both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors, reducing appetite and slowing gastric emptying. BPC-157 is described in rodent studies as promoting angiogenesis and modulating growth factor and inflammatory signalling.

Regulatory history: Tirzepatide is approved. BPC-157 is not approved, was reviewed by FDA staff in July 2026 with no adequate human data found, and is not a permitted compounding ingredient. The combination has never been evaluated.
