What BIO101 is

Mechanism: Pharmaceutical-grade 20-hydroxyecdysone, developed as an activator of the MAS receptor, the receptor for angiotensin 1-7 and part of the protective counter-regulatory arm of the renin-angiotensin system. Activating that arm opposes the muscle wasting, fibrosis and inflammation driven by angiotensin II signalling through the AT1 receptor.
