Is BPC-157 with KPV legal in Australia?

Two peptides sold together for gut problems, most often 10 mg of each in a 20 mg vial. Nobody has ever studied the pair. BPC-157 has five small studies in people, none given the way people use it. KPV has no data in people at all. And the vial is injected, while the claim is about the gut.

On paper this blend makes sense, and that is why it is worth a careful look. BPC-157 came out of research on stomach juice, and most of its animal work is about the gut.

How it works: In gut and immune cells, KPV turns down swelling signals. That is the idea behind its results in mice.

Approval history: Not approved, and never reviewed as a combination. FDA staff reviewed BPC-157 alone for the July 2026 meeting of the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, and found no adequate human data.

Registers or lists medicines and health products on the ARTG, its official register. It also sorts substances into schedules in the Poisons Standard. Many peptides are Schedule 4 (prescription only). So having them without a prescription, or importing them for yourself, is restricted. That is true even when no product is registered.

Whether BPC-157 with KPV is banned in sport is set by the World Anti-Doping Code and by military rules, not by its legal status in Australia. Before you compete or get tested, look up BPC-157 with KPV by name on the Prohibited List, or look up a named product in Global DRO. Under the World Anti-Doping Code, category S0 bans, at all times, any drug-like substance that meets two tests. No other section of the List covers it. And no government health regulator anywhere has a current approval for it as a treatment in people. Many substances that are approved somewhere are banned by name in another section. So approval does not mean a substance is allowed in sport.
