Is GLOW capsules legal in Canada?

The injectable skin blend sold as a swallowed capsule, typically 2 mg GHK-Cu, 500 micrograms each of BPC-157 and TB-500, and 100 mg of hyaluronic acid. The combination has never been tested by any route, and the oral route has never been tested for any of the three peptides. By mass the capsule is about 97% hyaluronic acid.

Oral versions of the copper blends appeared once needles became the obstacle to a wider market. The formula per capsule is usually 2 mg GHK-Cu, 500 micrograms of BPC-157, 500 micrograms of the fragment sold as TB-500, and 100 mg of hyaluronic acid.

Mechanism: Unknown by this route. The mechanisms claimed are the topical and injected mechanisms of the components: copper delivery and collagen signalling for GHK-Cu, repair pathway activity for BPC-157, actin binding for the fragment.

Regulatory history: Not approved as a drug. Sold as a supplement despite containing peptides FDA has placed outside the compounding lists, which is a regulatory position vendors assert rather than one a regulator has granted.

Authorises drugs for sale through a Notice of Compliance and Drug Identification Number. A compound that is not authorised for sale cannot lawfully be sold for human use, and personal importation of prescription drugs is limited.
