Is NAD+ with glutathione legal in Australia?

Usually two separate drips or shots given in one clinic visit, not one vial, because no premixed product is standard. NAD+ drips raise NAD in the blood. That is a blood number, not a health result. The best test of glutathione into a vein was in Parkinson's disease. People on the dummy drip did about as well on symptom scores.

This is the drip clinic version of longevity. A usual visit is a bag of fluids, a quick glutathione shot into the drip, and a NAD+ drip, sometimes with B vitamins too.

How it works: NAD+ is a helper molecule cells need to make energy. It also feeds enzymes linked to ageing and DNA repair, called sirtuins and PARPs.

Approval history: Neither is an approved drug for these uses. Both are supplied as shots mixed by pharmacies (compounded). Those are not FDA approved, and are not checked for safety, for whether they work, or for quality.

Registers or lists medicines and health products on the ARTG, its official register. It also sorts substances into schedules in the Poisons Standard. Many peptides are Schedule 4 (prescription only). So having them without a prescription, or importing them for yourself, is restricted. That is true even when no product is registered.

Whether NAD+ with glutathione is banned in sport is set by the World Anti-Doping Code and by military rules, not by its legal status in Australia. Before you compete or get tested, look up NAD+ with glutathione by name on the Prohibited List, or look up a named product in Global DRO. Under the World Anti-Doping Code, category S0 bans, at all times, any drug-like substance that meets two tests. No other section of the List covers it. And no government health regulator anywhere has a current approval for it as a treatment in people. Many substances that are approved somewhere are banned by name in another section. So approval does not mean a substance is allowed in sport.
