How does the reconstitution calculator work?

You enter the vial strength, the amount of bacteriostatic water you are adding, and your target amount, and it returns the exact volume and the mark to pull to, in units on an insulin syringe or in millilitres on a 3 or 5 mL luer syringe. It performs the arithmetic only, using your numbers, and does not recommend a dose.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.
