What happens if I leave a reconstituted vial out at room temperature?

Reconstituted peptides degrade quickly at room temperature, often becoming unreliable within a day or two, and contamination risk rises. A brief time out of the fridge while measuring is different from leaving a vial out overnight. If a mixed vial has been left out for an extended period, it is safest not to rely on it.
