Are research peptides legal in the UK?

This site's legal-status fields are national, and the UK is one of four countries stored, not a county-by-county map. What those UK lines actually say depends on the compound. Approved peptide drugs such as semaglutide and tirzepatide are licensed, prescription only (MHRA). GHK-Cu is permitted as a cosmetic ingredient, which is not an injectable drug. Most research peptides, including BPC-157, TB-500, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, MOTS-c, KPV, and epitalon, are listed not licensed. PT-141 is listed not widely licensed.
