Do peptides need to be shipped cold with ice packs?
Lyophilized peptides generally do not require ice for short transit. Data indicate that freeze-dried peptides stay stable during standard shipping of a few days at ambient temperatures below about 30 degrees Celsius, which is why many suppliers ship them without ice. Refrigeration matters mainly for long-term storage, not brief transport.
