How long does an opened bacteriostatic water vial last?
An opened vial of bacteriostatic water is generally considered good for about 28 days when refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. Beyond the labeled expiration, sterility and preservative strength can no longer be assumed, so an expired vial should not be used.
