What water should I use to reconstitute a peptide?

Bacteriostatic water is the standard choice because its preservative lets a vial be used over several weeks. Sterile water can also be used but has no preservative, so it is best for single use. Do not use tap water, spring water, or plain distilled water, which are not sterile and are not intended for this purpose.
