What does it mean to reconstitute a peptide?

Reconstitution is mixing the freeze-dried powder with a liquid, usually bacteriostatic water, so it dissolves into a usable solution. The powder holds the peptide in a stable dry state; adding water brings it back into solution. This is educational information, not dosing guidance.
