What Hexarelin is
A strong lab-made peptide that makes the body release growth hormone. It is also studied for direct effects that may protect the heart.
Hexarelin is a lab-made chain of six amino acids, from the same family as GHRP-2 and GHRP-6. It makes the pituitary gland release growth hormone.
How it works: It switches on the ghrelin receptor on the pituitary gland, which releases growth hormone. It also binds a protein on the heart called CD36, which is thought to be behind its heart protecting effects.
