Is Wolverine blend legal in the United Kingdom?

Two gray-market healing peptides in one vial, usually 10 mg of each, sold for injury recovery. No study has ever tested the two together. A review of BPC-157 found 36 studies, and 35 of them were in animals or cells. And what shops sell as TB-500 is not thymosin beta 4. It is a seven amino acid piece of it.

Wolverine is the best known name in gray-market recovery peptides. The usual vial holds 10 milligrams of BPC-157 and 10 milligrams of TB-500.

How it works: People assume the effects add up, and assume is the key word. In animal and lab studies, BPC-157 is reported to raise growth hormone receptors and switch on pathways for cell growth and new blood vessels, while lowering inflammation signals.

Approval history: Not approved, and the combination has never been reviewed. FDA staff looked at BPC-157 for the July 2026 meeting of the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, the panel that advises on what pharmacies may mix. They found no adequate human data, and they found wrongly labelled products on the market. Neither part is an approved medicine anywhere.

Licenses medicines for sale in the UK. A compound without a licence to be sold (a marketing authorisation) is an unlicensed medicine. The law only lets it reach people through a prescriber, under the specials scheme (unlicensed medicines made for one patient's needs). It cannot be sold as a research product.

Whether Wolverine blend is banned in sport is set by the World Anti-Doping Code and by military rules, not by its legal status in the United Kingdom. Before you compete or get tested, look up Wolverine blend by name on the Prohibited List, or look up a named product in Global DRO. Under the World Anti-Doping Code, category S0 bans, at all times, any drug-like substance that meets two tests. No other section of the List covers it. And no government health regulator anywhere has a current approval for it as a treatment in people. Many substances that are approved somewhere are banned by name in another section. So approval does not mean a substance is allowed in sport.
