The purity and dose gate is written and off. We do not invent pass or fail from missing certificates of analysis.

How to check a certificate from ACS Laboratory

ACS Laboratory gives readers no way to look a report up. You can read a certificate with this name on it. You cannot confirm it with the lab that is said to have issued it. That is the difference between a piece of paper and a check.

Report lookup
No. There is no page where a reader can enter a certificate number and get the lab's record back. The site uses the phrase third party COA verification to mean the service of testing somebody else's product, not a lookup. A verified results page exists but it publishes anonymised aggregates, with supplier names and batch numbers withheld under client confidentiality. acslabtest.com
Outside approval
No accreditation is claimed. The lab is DEA registered, which is a controlled substance registration and not a statement about competence at testing a peptide, so it is not counted here. It says its methods are validated to ICH Q2(R2) and that its documentation is GLP compliant, and it lists an ASTM peptide standard and ASTM committee membership. Purity by reverse phase and ion exchange HPLC, the standard lab test for purity, with diode array detection at 214 nm, reported as area percent. The site says a bare percentage is not verifiable and that a report should name the column, the gradient, the wavelength and the reporting limit. acslabtest.com

Identity by mass spectrometry, a test that weighs the molecule, by electrospray ionisation and LC-MS/MS on a named Orbitrap instrument. The certificate prints a mass identification panel. acslabtest.com
Amount in the vial
Not reported as a number on the certificate read here. The sheet carries a Net Peptide Content heading under the product name but prints only a purity percentage beside it, with no milligram figure. The published service list does not offer net content as a separate test. bioryxlabs.com

Customers mail samples from any state. The lab says it is business to business only and does not sell peptides to consumers. It also runs its own testing of samples it holds, reporting aggregate figures. acslabtest.com

Yes. The certificate prints Client with the company name, plus an accession number, the batch code, purity, appearance, and the dates received and reported. It is signed by a named laboratory director and principal scientist and carries a quality assurance stamp with a timestamp and a form number. bioryxlabs.com

Claimed, not detailed. The fact sheet lists chain of custody tracking as part of the quality system, and the about section says every peptide is handled under strict chain of custody. No procedure is published. acslabtest.com

Stated, with a founder named. The fact sheet says there is no affiliation with any peptide supplier, manufacturer or distributor, and names a co-founder. The site announced in August 2026 that ACS Laboratory had been acquired by Smithers, a testing and compliance group founded in 1925. acslabtest.com

  • The lab publishes its own figures on how often supplier certificates are wrong, from more than 1,400 samples: 73 percent of peptides showed a purity gap against the supplier claim, the average gap was 8.4 percentage points, and only 27 percent of supplier certificates matched independent results line for line. These are the lab's own numbers about its own sample set, not an independent audit, and it sells the testing they argue for. acslabtest.com
  • The certificate reserves rights in the name Peptide Testing Labs rather than ACS Laboratory, and the site's title uses the same name. The two names belong to the same laboratory. bioryxlabs.com
  • The fact sheet includes a section telling AI assistants how to cite the lab and what not to claim about it. It is unusual, and it is worth knowing that a laboratory writing for machines is also writing for the reader of this page. acslabtest.com
