What this page can say

The names below are facts about certificates we opened. They are not a ranking of laboratories against one another, and they carry no HPLC purity score. Seller certificate tier is still the ranking on every price page.

The purity and dose gate is written and off. We do not invent pass or fail from missing certificates of analysis.

Deferred: HPLC scores, a lab quality letter, and turning the purity gate on. Those need quality data we are entitled to use. They are not shipped.

How to check a certificate from Biatlo AG

A certificate on a seller's site is a file the seller uploaded. A certificate this lab's own website shows you is something else. Take the codes printed on the file and type them in here yourself. Do not follow a link or a QR code printed on the file. A fake certificate carries a fake link.

  1. Find these on the certificate: Report ID from the certificate, in the form BSL-XXXXXX-NNNNN, for example BSL-V2T8FK-02884.
  2. Type the laboratory's address into your browser: https://biatlo.com/
  3. What a real one shows you: A verified authentic panel showing the compound, the purity, the analysis date, the method, the batch and the client, with a download link to the certificate PDF. Anything else, even a page that loads but shows no report, means the certificate has not been confirmed.

Where it is
Viganello, near Lugano, Via la Santa 1, published in the site footer. biatlo.com
Country
Switzerland, as claimed on both the site and the certificate. biatlo.com
Report lookup
Yes. A verify panel on the home page takes the report ID from the certificate and shows the compound, the purity, the analysis date, the method, the batch and the client, with a button to download the certificate as a PDF. biatlo.com
Outside approval
Claimed loudly and never evidenced. The home page, the about page, the footer and the certificate all say ISO 17025 accredited, and the about page names the Swiss Accreditation Service and adds GLP compliant. No certificate number and no scope appear anywhere on the site or on the certificate, and nothing links to a register entry. biatlo.com
Purity test
Purity by HPLC with ultraviolet detection at 220 nm, against a stated specification of 98 percent or better. The certificate prints a total purity figure and the trace (chromatogram). peptideskingdom.com
Identity test
Identity by electrospray mass spectrometry, a test that weighs the molecule, printed on the certificate as mass confirmation with a pass marking. peptideskingdom.com
Amount in the vial
Net peptide content in milligrams against the label claim plus or minus 10 percent, measured gravimetrically and by HPLC. On the blend read here each of the four components was reported separately. peptideskingdom.com
Bacterial toxins
Bacterial toxins (endotoxins) by the kinetic chromogenic LAL test, published at 240 dollars, with a stated sensitivity down to 0.001 nanograms of lipopolysaccharide and results in endotoxin units. biatlo.com
Germ-free test
The standard sterility test under USP 71, by membrane filtration and incubation for aerobic and anaerobic organisms and yeast, published at 240 dollars. biatlo.com
Heavy metals
Toxic metals by ICP-MS under the USP 232 elemental impurity limits, covering lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium, published at 275 dollars. biatlo.com
Who may submit
Customers order a test for a named compound from a published price list and ship the sample. The site runs a shop and a cart for testing services. It does not say it buys products to test on its own. biatlo.com
Names the client
Yes, on the certificate and on the lookup. The certificate prints Client with the seller's name, the compound, the batch, the CAS numbers, the molecular weights, the sample quantity, the dates received, analysed and reported, and a specification beside every result. It is signed by a named laboratory director and a named quality assurance manager. peptideskingdom.com
Sample tracking
Not published. The certificate records that the sample was received in good condition and stored at minus 20 degrees before analysis, and nothing about who handled it or how it was chosen. peptideskingdom.com
Turnaround
Five to nine business days from sample receipt, with a rush option on request. biatlo.com
Pricing
Published in full, compound by compound: 300 dollars for semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide, 380 dollars for cagrilintide and survodutide, 180 dollars for most of the rest, with sterility and endotoxin at 240 dollars each, heavy metals at 275 dollars, residual solvents at 245 dollars and net peptide content at 230 dollars. biatlo.com
Independence
Stated. The about page says the lab operates as a completely independent laboratory with no ties to manufacturers or vendors, and that its only commitment is to accurate, unbiased results. No owner is named; a laboratory director and a quality assurance manager sign the certificate. biatlo.com

Report numbers look like this: BSL-XXXXXX-NNNNN, for example BSL-V2T8FK-02884

Our notes

  • The laboratory's own figures do not agree with each other. The home page says 78,400 or more samples analysed, a 99.97 percent accuracy rate and 1,100 or more trusted vendors. The about page, two clicks away, says 15,000 reports issued, a 99.9 percent accuracy rate and 500 clients worldwide. biatlo.com
  • A search for the company by name and by its claimed Swiss accreditation returned nothing: no register entry, no directory listing, no third party record of a Swiss analytical laboratory of this name. The accreditation claim rests entirely on the laboratory's own say so, which is why the accreditation point above is not counted. biatlo.com
  • The certificate carries a repeated BIATLO watermark laid across the text, dense enough that the extracted text interleaves the watermark letters with the results. That is a tamper deterrent, and it also makes the document harder to read mechanically. peptideskingdom.com
