What this page can say
The names below are facts about certificates we opened. They are not a ranking of laboratories against one another, and they carry no HPLC purity score. Seller certificate tier is still the ranking on every price page.
The purity and dose gate is written and off. We do not invent pass or fail from missing certificates of analysis.
Deferred: HPLC scores, a lab quality letter, and turning the purity gate on. Those need quality data we are entitled to use. They are not shipped.
How to check a certificate from Prodigy Labs
A certificate on a seller's site is a file the seller uploaded. A certificate this lab's own website shows you is something else. Take the codes printed on the file and type them in here yourself. Do not follow a link or a QR code printed on the file. A fake certificate carries a fake link.
- Find these on the certificate: Verification code printed near the QR block on the certificate, in the form of a long hyphenated identifier; or a scan of the QR code.
- Type the laboratory's address into your browser: https://prodigy-labs.com/verify
- What a real one shows you: The record as the laboratory issued it, with sample identity and lot, the method behind each analysis, results with units and specification limits, the pass or fail determination, the report date and the authorised signatory. A later revision is shown as a revision. Anything else, even a page that loads but shows no report, means the certificate has not been confirmed.

- Report lookup
- Yes. A verify page takes the verification code printed near the QR code on the certificate, or a scan of the code itself. The page says the record shows the sample identity and lot, the analyses performed and the method behind each, the results with units and specification limits, the pass or fail determination, the report date, the authorised signatory, and whether the report was later revised. It adds that if a document carries no code it did not come from their system. prodigy-labs.com
- Outside approval
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017, accredited by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation (PJLA), and the laboratory says on the same line that not every service is inside the scope. Read the certificate and it is more specific than that: it states that the analyses reported on it are not within the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope and that the results are reported for research use. prodigy-labs.com
- Purity test
- Purity by reverse phase HPLC at 214 or 220 nm, reported as the main peak area against all detected impurities including truncation products and oxidised forms. The certificate prints the method, the specification and the result in one row. prodigy-labs.com
- Identity test
- Identity by LC-MS, a test that weighs the molecule, offered as an addition to the standard package. The certificate read here established identity by retention time against a qualified reference standard run in the same sequence, confirmed by co-injection and by intact mass by LC-MS. lifelinkresearch.com
- Amount in the vial
- Net peptide content by reverse phase HPLC at 214 nm, reported in milligrams. The certificate marks the specification for this row as report only, so the figure is printed without a limit to meet. lifelinkresearch.com
- Bacterial toxins
- Bacterial toxins (endotoxins) by the LAL test or by recombinant factor C, reported in EU per mg. prodigy-labs.com
- Germ-free test
- The full 14 day USP 71 sterility test, which the lab says it runs in house rather than sending out. The certificate read here printed USP 71 with no growth detected. lifelinkresearch.com
- Heavy metals
- Toxic metals by ICP-MS under USP 232 and 233, covering arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury and chromium, each with its own limit printed on the certificate. lifelinkresearch.com
- Who may submit
- Customers submit online or through a free portal account and ship with a chain of custody form. The lab also runs an incubator and consulting business. It does not manufacture or resell peptides and does not say it buys products to test on its own. prodigy-labs.com
- Names the client
- Yes. The certificate prints the customer name and an email address, the laboratory sample ID, a chain of custody number, the matrix, the storage condition, the dates received and completed, and a block of product information marked as declared by the customer at intake and not independently verified by the laboratory. lifelinkresearch.com
- Sample tracking
- Published and numbered. The certificate carries its own chain of custody number beside the sample ID. The lab provides a chain of custody form, records sample receipt confirmation, storage conditions and handling, and logs samples in on arrival at the San Diego facility. lifelinkresearch.com
- Turnaround
- Five to seven business days for the standard HPLC package, seven to ten for the injectable safety panel, and about fifteen for the tier that includes the 14 day sterility test. prodigy-labs.com
- Pricing
- Published with no quote wall: 225 dollars per sample for identity, purity and content, LC-MS identity 125 dollars more, blind identity 250 dollars, water panel 195 dollars, injectable safety panel 595 dollars, and 995 dollars for the panel that adds USP 71 sterility and mass confirmation. prodigy-labs.com
- Independence
- Stated, with a founder named. The lab says it does not manufacture or resell peptides, and the about page names the founder and a scientific director. It began in food and supplement testing and later added an incubator. prodigy-labs.com
Report numbers look like this: PL-COA-YYYYMMDD-XXXX, for example PL-COA-20260909-C02D, with a separate laboratory sample ID and chain of custody number
Our notes
- This is the second laboratory on this site whose accreditation does not cover the peptide test being sold, after Vanguard, and the first to print the fact on the certificate itself. The sentence is worth reading twice: the analyses reported on this certificate are not within the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope. An accredited laboratory and an accredited test are not the same thing. lifelinkresearch.com
- The certificate separates what was measured from what was claimed. A product information block is labelled client provided and marked as not independently verified or measured by the laboratory, which keeps the seller's label claim visibly distinct from the laboratory's own result. lifelinkresearch.com
- The verify page makes the same argument this site does, in the laboratory's own words: a certificate received by email from a seller and a certificate you looked up yourself are different kinds of evidence. prodigy-labs.com
