When ApoB is high, or LDL looks fine and pattern B is not
ApoB counts particles. LDL-C counts cargo. The owner's bergamot rule is written for small-dense LDL / pattern B. Psyllium can nudge LDL a little as an adjunct to diet. Neither is a statin.

The coach gate
Get ApoB, LDL-C, and a one-time Lp(a). Risk, not a forum target, decides whether a clinician offers a medicine. Do not trade a prescribed lipid drug for a citrus extract.
What this does not mean
It does not mean bergamot prevents heart attacks. The human trials are small lipid-panel studies, largely from one group. It does not mean psyllium is a substitute for therapy that has outcome data.

Candidate supplements, not orders
What people typically order
Ask for ApoB, a standard lipid panel, and Lp(a) once. Pattern or LDL-particle testing is optional context. Partners that include ApoB are listed on /bloodwork/partners when that directory is live.
Stopping rule
Retest at about ninety days if a supplement was the only change. If ApoB did not move, stop the bottle. If a clinician started a medicine, they own the retest window.
