Why does PT-141 cause flushing?

Flushing was measured in the same RECONNECT trials: 1,267 premenopausal women over 24 weeks, with flushing listed alongside nausea and headache each in 10% or more. The approved product is Vyleesi (bremelanotide). The finding line on this site does not split that 10% or more into a more precise flushing-only percentage. This FAQ does not invent a tighter rate from that combined list.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.
