NLRP3 is the inflammasome that drives IL-1beta and much of the chronic low-grade inflammation of aging. In a Phase 1 reported in April 2026, 120 mg of BGE-102 daily lowered hsCRP by a median 86% by day 14 in adults with obesity and elevated inflammation, with only mild to moderate adverse events.
