Livagen is a four amino acid peptide sold for the liver and gut. The only evidence is cells, a slice of liver tissue kept alive in a dish. There is no human study. It is not approved.
What people take it for
- A healthier liver.
- Better digestion and a younger gut.
- Undoing liver ageing.
What studies in people showed
There is no human study. There is no animal study on the page either. One Russian paper from 2002 grew liver tissue in a dish and added the peptide. The authors said the cells kept a normal balance and showed signs of regrowth. The only other citation is a paper from the same group. Nobody has ever run a liver blood test before and after giving it to a person. All of it comes from the institute that sells it. Nobody outside that group has ever tested it.

The bad
- Most people say nothing happened.
- No study has checked liver enzymes in anyone taking it, so nobody knows if it touches the liver at all.
- There is no safety data anywhere.

Livagen is marketed for liver and gut ageing. The claim is that it changes which genes are switched on in liver and immune cells. The evidence is cell work from the Khavinson institute. A Russian-language study of liver tissue grown in a dish reported that it helped keep the cells in balance and showed signs of repair. A review from the same group places it among their other peptides. Both come from the same research group. No one else has repeated it. There is no proper human trial and no data on how the body absorbs it by any route. It is not approved.
