This is how I would explain it to a friend. The evidence, with the numbers, is further down the page.
Vilon is a two amino acid peptide sold for the immune system and for slowing ageing. The evidence is mice and cells in a dish. It is the smallest peptide in the Khavinson family. There is no human study on the page. It is not approved.
What people take it for
- Fewer infections as they get older.
- Slowing down ageing.
- Living longer, because of one mouse study.
- Waking up an immune system that has slowed with age.
What studies in people showed
There are no trials in people. In female mice given it from month 6 of life, the mice moved more, lasted longer on endurance tests, lived longer and grew fewer tumours. That is one strain of mouse in one study. In cells taken from human and rat thymus, it nudged young immune cells toward becoming T helper cells. The page says small Russian clinical work exists, but there is no human study with a number on it. All of it comes from the group that sells it. Nobody outside that group has tested it.

- Fewer colds through the winter, which is hard for any one person to judge.
- A bit more energy during a course.
The bad
- Red or itchy skin where the needle goes in.
- Tiredness, a mild headache or a slight bump in temperature in the first days, per the vendor guides.
- Most people cannot tell whether it did anything.
- The vendor guides quote nausea rates from animal studies. That is not a human number.
Where these come from: Vendor research guides (peptidesinstitute.org, peptideassistant.com, peptibase.dev, mypeptidematch.com). These are generic injected peptide side effect lists, not reports from a Vilon study. No forum thread with specific user reports was found for it. Nothing here is from a trial.

Vilon is a lab-made peptide of just two building blocks, lysine and glutamic acid. It is one of the short 'bioregulator' peptides from Khavinson's school. It is studied for rebuilding the immune system and for markers of ageing. Most of the work is Russian lab and animal work, plus small human studies. There are no human studies on this page. In mice given it from 6 months of age, it raised activity and stamina, lengthened life and cut tumors. In human and rat thymus cells in a dish, it pushed immune cells to mature. Few outside that group have repeated it, so the evidence is early. It is not approved.
How does Vilon work?
It is thought to switch on genes in specific tissues, which would support the immune system and slow cell ageing.
