What is the difference between a DXA scan and a fracture after menopause?

A DXA reports bone mineral density. A fracture is a break that happened. This site separates them on /measured/bone because a better scan is not the same finding as fewer broken bones. Training can move density a little and helps with falls. Osteoporosis drugs are what have been shown to change fracture rates in people. Research peptides have not replaced that distinction.
