What is Chonluten?
Chonluten is a three building block peptide from Khavinson's institute, sold for lung and gut lining health. The evidence is patents and a single paper.
Chonluten is marketed for the lining of the airways and stomach. The claim is that it switches on genes in those lining cells. Its evidence sits at the level of patents and single papers. The firmest result is from a dish. In human immune cells called monocytes, it cut the release of an inflammation signal, TNF, after the cells were exposed to a bacterial toxin. Together with four other Khavinson peptides, it also lowered TNF and IL-6 and made the cells stick less to blood vessel cells. That study was run with the Khavinson institute, so it is not independent. A review from the same group supplies the rest. There are no human trials and it is not approved.
