Are semax and selank legal?

On this site's national fields, both are not approved, research use only in the US, not licensed in the UK, and not approved in Australia or Canada. Semax is approved in Russia and Ukraine for stroke and cognitive disorders. Selank is approved in Russia as an anxiolytic. Unapproved in the four countries this site tracks is not the same as banned. A July 2026 US advisory vote recommended Semax for compounding against FDA scientists; that vote is advisory. Sub-national detail is not in this dataset.
