Is BPC-157 FDA approved?

No. This site's US legal-status field is not approved, research use only, not a dietary supplement, and flagged by FDA for compounding. It is not licensed in the UK, not approved in Canada, and prohibited in sport (WADA S0) plus not approved in Australia. FDA removed it from the Category 2 compounding list in April 2026; a July 2026 advisory vote, 8 to 6 with one abstention, recommended it for compounding against the reviewers. That vote is advisory and is not an approval. Sub-national detail is not in this dataset.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.

Part of further names and published absences. Leftover harvested questions after the first two absence sets: more brand versus molecule names, side effects the citations did not count, compounding formulas this catalogue does not hold, national FDA and Australia fields, trial windows rather than an onset clock, named combinations with no interaction table, and oral routes that have not been studied.
