Will research peptides get banned?

Some already have regulatory action against them, and it has gone against the sellers more often than for them recently. BPC-157, TB-500, and MOTS-c were removed from the FDA's Category 2 bulk drug substance list in April 2026, meaning compounding pharmacies were told to stop making them. An FDA advisory committee then voted in July 2026 on whether to recommend several of these peptides, including BPC-157 and TB-500, for compounding, with mixed results that are still working through the regulatory process.
