Is half-life the same as being out of your system?

No. Half-life is the time for the amount in the body to fall by half. Pharmacology convention treats about five half-lives as roughly 97 percent cleared, which is what people mean by out of your system. That is a clearance estimate for a single dose. It does not say whether a receptor still responds the same way after repeated doses, and it is not a cycle length. A compound can clear in minutes and still belong to the one family with measured desensitization. A compound can linger for days with no such measurement. Full table at /cycling.

Part of cycling and clearance. Whether peptides need a break, what a half-life actually tells you, and where a real cycling mechanism has been measured. Full detail at /cycling.
