Should semaglutide be cycled?

Its FDA labels answer this directly. Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) is approved as continuous once-weekly treatment for as long as type 2 diabetes or chronic weight management is being treated. The label does not include an off period. The STEP 1 extension measured what stopping does: about two thirds of lost weight returned within a year. Community protocols that cycle it are unverified.
