Abdomen vs thigh vs arm for research peptides?
For research peptides, no published human trial ranks abdomen against thigh against the back of the upper arm, the site people often call the deltoid. The fat layer does not change with the name on the vial. Ultrasound work in adults found mean fat depth of about 13.9 millimeters at the abdomen, 10.8 at the arm, and 10.4 at the thigh, which is why an 8 millimeter needle had the highest measured intramuscular risk at the thigh. Approved incretin labels that measured similar exposure at those three sites describe those labeled products, not a research vial. This is not a dose. Full walkthrough at /injecting.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.
Part of injecting: sites, needles and safety. Subcutaneous vs intramuscular, site rotation, lipohypertrophy, needle length and gauge, vial hygiene at injection time, travel syringes, scar tissue, and when to stop and see a clinician. Full walkthrough at /injecting.
