Is an 8 mm needle too long for peptides?

This site does not recommend a specific needle. What ultrasound work in adults with diabetes measured: an 8 millimeter needle inserted straight in without a pinch carried about a 25 percent chance of reaching muscle at the thigh and about 9.7 percent at the abdomen, against 1.6 percent and 0.1 percent for a 4 millimeter needle at the same sites. A 4 to 5 millimeter needle at 90 degrees stayed subcutaneous in virtually all adults tested. Leaner people and the thigh are the least forgiving cases. Full walkthrough at /injecting.
