Does bacteriostatic water make a multi-use vial safe forever?

No. The roughly 28-day refrigerated window is the preservative's documented job against microbial growth, not a sterility guarantee after that date, and it does not cancel wiping the stopper, using a new needle, or refusing to share the vial.
