How do you handle a reconstituted vial at injection time?

Wash hands first. Wipe the rubber stopper with alcohol before every puncture, even on a vial already in use. Draw with a needle that has not already been used on skin. Swab the injection site with 60 to 70 percent alcohol for 30 seconds and let it air dry for 30 seconds before the needle goes in. Injecting through wet alcohol is a documented extra sting.
