Should you pinch the skin when injecting peptides?
A pinch is a way to lift fat away from muscle, not a ritual that belongs to any one peptide. Standard technique in the subcutaneous literature is a 90 degree angle straight in. Where the fat layer is thin, commonly in a lean person, at the thigh, or on the back of the arm, a 45 degree angle or a pinched fold reduces, though it does not eliminate, the chance of an accidental intramuscular injection with a longer needle. This is not a dose or a protocol. Full walkthrough at /injecting.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.
Part of injecting: sites, needles and safety. Subcutaneous vs intramuscular, site rotation, lipohypertrophy, needle length and gauge, vial hygiene at injection time, travel syringes, scar tissue, and when to stop and see a clinician. Full walkthrough at /injecting.
