When does tirzepatide stop working?

This site does not hold a citation that measures tachyphylaxis or a date when tirzepatide stops working for a person. The trial windows it does hold are SURMOUNT-1 at 72 weeks (2,539 adults without diabetes; up to 20.9% mean weight loss on 15 milligrams), SURMOUNT-OSA at 52 weeks, and SURPASS-2 at 40 weeks against semaglutide 1 milligram. SURPASS-CVOT compared cardiovascular events in 13,299 people and did not report a 'stopped working' analysis. A plateau in an individual is not a finding those papers published.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.

Part of names, absences, and legal limits. Brand versus molecule, side effects this site's citations did not measure, how long the trials actually ran, what national legal-status fields can say, and why two-compound answers do not scale to a larger stack.
