Why does tesamorelin cause joint pain?

The question assumes a causal finding this site's tesamorelin citations do not hold. Those citation findings report visceral fat (412 people at 26 weeks; 806 pooled, treatment effect minus 15.4% VAT), cognition in 152 older adults over 20 weeks, and liver fat in 61 people over 12 months, where injection-site complaints were more common and none were judged serious. None of those finding lines report a counted joint-pain rate. First-hand reports on the tesamorelin profile mention joint pain as matching the approved product's label; this FAQ cannot publish a percentage from the citations themselves.
