Why is retatrutide not working?

Two different questions get asked under that phrasing, and this site can answer only the published half. Retatrutide is still investigational: TRIUMPH-1 randomized 2,339 people and reported up to 28.3% mean weight loss at 80 weeks on 12 milligrams versus 2.2% on placebo; Phase 2 ran 48 weeks in 338 adults. Those are averages over a set window, not an explanation of why one person would see no change. A research-chemical vial is not the trial product. This site holds no citation on individual non-response or on a date when the effect vanishes.
