How does kisspeptin-10 work?

Kisspeptin-10, also listed as KP-10, activates kisspeptin receptors on GnRH neurons, prompting the body to release its own GnRH and then LH, FSH, and sex hormones. Half-life on this site's profile is short, on the order of minutes. Molecular weight is about 1,302 daltons. The one citation on that page that actually used kisspeptin-10 found an intravenous bolus tripled LH in healthy men within 30 minutes, and a 22.5-hour infusion raised LH and testosterone and increased LH pulse frequency.
