What is gonadorelin used for?

Gonadorelin is synthetic gonadotropin releasing hormone, historically FDA approved for diagnostic testing and fertility treatment, though those specific approvals have been largely discontinued. It is now mainly used off label and through compounding to help preserve testicular function during testosterone replacement therapy, since it stimulates the body's own hormone axis rather than replacing testosterone directly.
