Yes. Metastin is an alias listed on this site's kisspeptin-54 profile, alongside KP-54. It names the same 54-residue KISS1 gene product, roughly 6 kilodaltons, that binds KISS1R on GnRH neurons. The IVF trigger programme at Imperial used kisspeptin-54: oocyte maturation in 95% of 60 women at high risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, with no moderate, severe, or critical cases.
