How does epitalon work?

It is proposed to act on the pineal gland and circadian regulation, with research interest in telomerase activation as a mechanism for its studied effects on aging and retinal degeneration. This site's review found 13 citations for epitalon, 6 of them human, covering a 266 person, 6 to 8 year observational study and a 12 to 15 year randomized comparison in coronary patients, all from one research tradition and none blinded.
