Is epitalon the same as pinealon?

No. They are different short peptides from the same Khavinson research tradition. Epitalon is a synthetic four-amino-acid pineal peptide (also spelled epithalon) studied for longevity, telomere activity, and circadian regulation, with a 266-person, 6 to 8 year observation and a 12 to 15 year randomized comparison in coronary patients, all from one lineage and none blinded. Pinealon is a different tripeptide, Glu-Asp-Arg, molecular weight 418.4 daltons, studied for neuroprotection; this site's review found one human citation, a 32-person Russian study of biological-age markers with Vesugen, with no independent replication. Sharing a research school is not the same molecule. Full records at /compounds/epitalon and /compounds/pinealon.

Part of immune and longevity peptides. Thymosin alpha-1, thymalin, epitalon, MOTS-c, humanin, and the bioregulator family.
