What is cartalax?

Cartalax is a three amino acid peptide bioregulator studied almost entirely in cell culture by the Khavinson research group that developed it, for chondrocyte, or cartilage cell, aging and osteoarthritis. This site's review found 5 citations, none of them from a primary human study; the only human claim is one sentence in a 2023 review stating it was given orally to older osteoarthritis patients, and no original report of that use has been located.
