How does cartalax work?

Cartalax is Ala-Glu-Asp, a three-amino-acid peptide also written AED or Kartalax. This site's profile proposes epigenetic regulation: an ultrashort peptide that enters the cell and interacts with DNA and histones to shift transcription. Half-life is not established; no pharmacokinetic study in humans or animals was located. Molecular weight is about 333 daltons. This site's review found no primary human study. The only human claim is one sentence in a 2023 review from the originating institute. The published mechanism work is cell culture: AED and a cartilage polypeptide complex normalised senescence markers in chondrocytes, and short peptides changed gene expression in aged human mesenchymal stem cell cultures.
