Is there a human trial of humanin as a drug?

No. This site's review found 9 citations for humanin, 5 of them human, and every one is observational, measuring how natural humanin levels relate to age, family longevity, cardiovascular risk, or a specific mitochondrial disease. None of them gave humanin to a person as an administered compound. It is also not among the peptides nominated to the FDA's compounding bulks list as of the July 2026 review, unlike BPC-157, TB-500, and MOTS-c.
