Can BPC-157 cause headaches?

This site's BPC-157 citations do not report headache as a counted trial outcome. FDA's 2026 evaluation counted five human studies totaling fewer than 110 people, none designed as a headache study. No serious adverse events were reported in those studies, but they enrolled few people, dosed for at most two weeks, and reported little about how safety was monitored. FDA has three adverse event reports involving injected BPC-157: injection-site redness and swelling, an emergency-room visit for shortness of breath, and skin and gum hyperpigmentation. Headache is not among those counted lines. This FAQ does not invent an adverse-event rate the citations do not contain.
