Is TB-500 legal to buy?

It is sold as a research chemical, not an approved drug, and is not a legal dietary supplement in the US. The FDA removed it from the Category 2 compounding list in April 2026, and a July 2026 advisory committee vote to recommend it for compounding anyway went against the agency's own reviewers, who found no human data of any kind for the substance. It is also banned in Olympic sport.
