Can you get BPC-157 prescribed by a doctor?
In the US it is not FDA approved for any condition, so a standard prescription for it does not exist the way it does for an approved drug. Some compounding pharmacies have prepared it under 503A rules, but the FDA removed BPC-157 from its Category 2 bulks list in April 2026, and a July 2026 advisory vote to recommend it for compounding anyway went against the agency's own reviewers and remains unresolved.
